Little Alien Breaks Down

Little Alien decides he's going to go to the blue planet. So... he jumps in his spaceship and off he goes. When he is about halfway there, his spaceship suddenly stops working. It has broken down. So, he turns on his emergency signal ... bleep ... bleep ... bleep ... bleep ... and his parents show up in their ship and get him. They put his spaceship in the shop and he tells them all about having to wait for them. The End.

My son's response to this one "That's a funny one daddy". I told this one because he was asking for a Little Alien story, but it was well past his bedtime, so he requested a quick short one and the above was the result.

Little Alien discovers Halloween

One day, Little Alien decided to go to the blue planet. He got in his space ship and traveled down to the surface. It was just getting dark where he landed and something wasn't right. Everything seemed a bit different than usual but Little Alien couldn't quite decide what it was. He got out of his ship and started to look around. Finally, he saw them: a bunch of odd looking creatures running around the street. Little Alien had never seen creatures like these on this planet, so he was fascinated and decided to follow them. While he was following, he noticed there were some people following them as well. He wondered if maybe they were curious about them as well? Just then, the strange little creatures went up to the door of a house and knocked on the door. The door opened and the funny looking creatures screamed at the occupant "Trick or Treat!". This seemed really odd to Little Alien but the man at the door smiled and gave something to each of the little creatures. How interesting thought Little Alien and he kept following the creatures. Then, after running away from one of the houses, giggling, one of the creatures removed his head. Little Alien was shocked! Just then he noticed that the creature was actually one of the little boys he'd seen here on the planet. It hadn't removed it's head, but had just removed a mask or some kind of disguise. Little Alien was truly fascinated by this ritual and wanted to try it, so he made every effort to say the funny words coming out of the kids mouths. He went up to a door, knocked and yelled Twip or Tweep when it opened. The woman smiled and gave him a candy bar. Little Alien smiled and ran away giggling just like the kids did. He had to try the candy and took a bite. It was very good. So, he went to many more houses and got many more treats, candy and crackers and fruit of all kinds. Little Alien decided this was a wonderful and fun thing for the people here to do, but he had to tell his family at home and he went back to his ship, travelled home to the mother ship in space and told his family all about the creatures that were really kids, but mostly about the treats and he passed out several to everyone, who all loved the idea as well.

Little Alien explores the blue planet

One day, Little Alien decided he was going to really explore the blue planet, so he jumped in his spaceship and off he went. First, he came to the little ball orbiting the blue planet. It was a nice shiny ball and he noticed it had been hit by a lot of rocks from space over time. Interesting to Little Alien was that it made the ball look like it had a face on it. Next, he hovered over the ice at the north pole of the planet. It was very white here and there didn't seem to be anything of interest, so he started to fly over the different land masses. There were several large continents on this planet and several big oceans as well. The land was green and brown and the water was blue. This must be how the planet gets the blue color, Little Alien thought to himself. Well, he had to have a closer look, so he put his spaceship closer to the planet and noticed the mountains and the trees and all the little creatures running around everywhere. There seemed to be tall creatures and small creatures and metallic creatures and wooden creatures. Little Alien saw this planet was teaming with life and it was very exciting. He got so excited that he just had to tell his family and he pulled up from the planet and returned to his ship where he told his family all about what he'd seen on the blue planet and they were very happy for him.

Little Alien discovers bubble gum

One day, Little Alien decided he was going to visit the blue planet. He loved this planet because it was very interesting from space and had lots of interesting creatures known as people on it. One day, he took his spaceship and landed in the middle of a large park in the middle of a large city. He left his spaceship behind and began walking down the street. The buildings were massive and the streets were full of little vehicles and lots of people. Little Alien looked over and saw a small person coming out of a store with a huge bubble on his face. This was very strange thought Little Alien, so he had to investigate. He stepped into the store and saw rows of items for sale. Behind the desk was a tall man with a lot of hair on his face, not just his head. He went over to the man and made gestures with his hands to show a bubble on his face. The man spoke to him, but Little Alien didn’t understand. Suddenly he saw another little person with a bubble and he pointed for the man to see. “Oh! You want bubble gum! Aisle 3” and the man held up three fingers so Little Alien could count them and pointed in the right direction. Little Alien got to aisle 3 and was surprised to find that there was nothing there that looked like a bubble on a face. He began looking very closely, sure he’d missed something until he discovered that many of the small packages did have little replicas of the bubble on them. He picked the red one because he liked the color red and took it up to the man at the counter. Again, the man spoke to him, but this time he held up 2 fingers. Little Alien figured this meant he had to give the man 2 of whatever it was people used to pay here, but he didn’t have anything. He said “Bleep bloop” very sadly, which means I don’t have any. He began to look around, wondering how he would find some money. The man smiled down at him and said, “You can have this one this time, but you bring money next time you come to my store.” Little Alien didn’t understand, but the man was handing the package to him, so he took it and left. He opened it quickly, took out a piece and put it in his mouth. It was chewy and tasted great but he couldn’t figure out how it was supposed to make a bubble. He was so excited about it though that he ran back to his spaceship and returned home to his family where he shared his new discovery. There, one of his siblings did figure out how to make the bubble and they all had lots of fun.

Little Alien discovers the solar system

One day, Little Alien decided to take a trip. He boarded his tiny spacecraft and left the larger craft of his family. He noticed a pretty yellow sun nearby and thought he’d take a look around. The first thing he saw was a small rocky planet orbiting closely to the sun. It was pocked with craters and very close to the sun, but didn’t seem very interesting at first glance so he moved on to the next planet. This planet was covered in clouds. The clouds were so thick, Little Alien couldn’t see much of anything so he moved on. The third planet was a beautiful blue, white and brown planet. This was an interesting planet. It had a lot of nice white clouds, nice features all over the surface. There was water and land and ice. In addition, this planet had a very nice round moon circling it. Little Alien decided he’d have to visit this planet, but he wanted to see what else was here first. The next planet was smaller than the blue one and it was very red and brown in color. It was mostly uninteresting, except for a huge canyon and a huge mountain on the planet’s surface. Flying on, Little Alien came to a bunch of rocks floating through space. He decided to try and avoid these and flew around them. Out beyond those rocks, everything changed. There were a lot of little round worlds out here, but they were actually moons of very large planets. The largest of these planets was massive in size and had a lot of little moons around it. It was covered in clouds and had very violent looking windstorms in those clouds, specifically a very large red spot. The next planet also had a lot of moons and was large, although not as large as the big red planet. It was mostly yellow in color, but it was very interesting because it had such beautiful rings of rock and ice surrounding it. Moving on out, Little Alien came to a very blue planet. It was a very beautiful color blue, but Little Alien didn’t find anything spectacular about it so he moved on. He was truly shocked to discover that the next planet he came to was virtually identical to the previous one. Also a beautiful blue color. This was surprising to Little Alien and he had to tell his family. He quickly looked and didn’t notice anything very large or interesting out here so he turned his spaceship around and returned to the larger ship. He got home and told everyone all about his discoveries.
